Clients come to Nutritionhelp at various stages of wellness (or perhaps more appropriately ‘unwellness’). A Nutritionhelp nutritional analysis provides recommendations for all aspects of health, but many specifically purchase an online report because they suspect they have an overgrowth of the intestinal yeast, Candida albicans. Their symptoms might range from fungal toe-nails to constant exhaustion, from PMS and hormonal issues to problems with skin. Some clients are house-bound while others are able to maintain their work and day-to-day lives. The rate of progress will also be different for each client, depending on what other factors might be involved, such as whether the adrenal glands need supporting, whether there is intestinal permeability, intestinal parasites or a heavy metal overload, or whether the client’s detoxification processes need supporting. Each client is an individual with their own health story.
The pathway to ‘unwellness’ will also be different for each person, but a number of factors remain common influences. Stress, poor diet, dependence on stimulants, long-term use of steroid medications, such as the Pill and HRT, and of course, the over prescription of antibiotics. While antibiotics can be life-saving for some, their effect is to not only wipe out the pathogenic bacteria, but also the wonderful beneficial bacteria which should be present in our intestines (weighing from 2-4 pounds). With favourable bacteria depleted, unhelpful yeasts, such as Candida albicans are not kept in check, and have room to multiply and spread, leading to many varied associated symptoms.
As I work together with clients to support and encourage health I often get to know a little bit about their story. One such client is Mark, who is a (very talented) film maker, and at this point of time produces Wedding Films. He recently sent me a link for a rather different film he has made – the story of how he and a group of friends supported a pal in his recovery from major kidney replacement surgery. Mark continues his own personal journey to support health nutritionally, and it is heart-warming to see that even while he still has some way to go, he is thinking about how he can help those around him. I have included his uplifting film below.
We all have are own health story, and pathway of nutritional support. If you feel you are at a plateau and need some additional encouragement, drop me an email at info@nutritionhelp.com, and we can arrange for a nutritional phone call (charged pro-rata) to help explore the way forward from here. If you haven’t already purchased an online nutritional report, that is the starting place to receive tailor-made dietary and supplement recommendations to help you on the pathway to optimal health.
